... enrolled some of the teachers in a 3 day training seminar which was held at the AOG Bible School.
The group will later prepare a presentation summary of the sessions to the rest of the team during the upcoming annual TLC seminar.
The latest little 18 month old addition to the Kindy Class is cute and enjoyed some assistance with his meal from Patrick.
Jonathon visited the kids and led them in a song ...
... and we invited Matt and Sam over while they were in town to discuss a project we wanted to get underway ...
... and after hearing about it, Matt and Sam kindly agreed to help out by working on the project with the kids.
These kids enjoyed their 'turn in the middle' to display their talent in presenting a new song ...
... but while they were passionate and harmonious in the singing department, they could do with a little more work on getting their actions synchronised.
Brian has volunteered his time teaching English ...
... and this girl was happy to receive some assistance.
The children are studying hard and we are pleased with the results achieved at the government school. The children have also enjoyed working on a couple of special projects ...
... including making 'Get Well' cards for Pastor Philip.
'Story Time' is a fun time for the kids with some remaining focused ensuring they do not miss out on any of the events, especially the plot ...
... while others can at times be more interested in what is going on around. There's certainly an art to keeping everyone totally interested!
And that is some of what's happening at TLC.

The first team bound for Thailand arrived at the airport ...
... and after Eddie 'knighted' Brandon, Philip and Sarah, as leaders of the Thailand adventure ...
... the team departed for the next exciting phase of their summer missions trip. A couple of hours later, the team bound for the USA arrived ...
... and soon proceeded to the departure gate.
With the team now out of the country, it was time to finalise the accounts with Leap ...
... and collect and distribute all the goodies that the team donated.
Thanks for coming and serving alongside us, Teen Mania! It was our pleasure to be your hosts. You are wonderful people!

... schedule was almost complete when they hosted a 'Thank You' party for their interpreters and people on the ground.
There were lots of photo shoots happening ...
... and it was great to have the opportunity to spend time with the team ...
... and listen to 'The Band' ...
... and catch up with TJ who is on her third trip to Cambodia.
It has been our pleasure to see TJ on each of her trips over the last three years and to also have had the opportunity of meeting up with her at the Teen Mania campus in Texas earlier this year.
What an amazing young group of passionate people!

The 'Sew Empowered' team recently farewelled Thy, who has now started her own business. We have now had 2 women move into positions of employment/business and love it when we see them move out of the project into other options that have become available to them.
A new machine has been added to the project in order to produce a couple of the Calypso Costumes ...
... and the girls were delighted to complete the current Calypso Costumes order which has now been sent overseas.
The girls continue to work on the silk screen T Shirt project ...
... and were excited to receive an order from Teen Mania.
