Empowering Cambodia is a member of CHABDAI ~ Christians Working Together to End Sexual Abuse and Trafficking and VIVA ~ Together for Children.

Empowering Cambodia is a faith based ministry with a heart to equip, empower and enrich the lives of the Cambodian people by providing long term solutions through the provision of quality development projects and together with our dedicated team of locals, Donors and Volunteers, we have the amazing privilege of doing just that.

In the words of John F. Kennedy ... 'One person can make a difference and everyone should try'.

Projects of the community development program include:-

~ Water and Sanitation Health (WASH)
~ Sustainable Activities
~ Vocational Skills Training
~ Capacity Building for Children, Youth & Adults

The above projects are purposely initiated as a result of research conducted within a community. The sole aim is to provide strategically designed activities that address the needs established during the research period, that improve the lives of those living in the community, thus improving various aspects of the local community, as a whole.

Program beneficiaries bring with them a number of issues resulting from their circumstances, which include, but are not limited to ~ children and youth who are victims of sex trafficking, rape, domestic violence and addictions ~ children, youth and adults living with HIV ~ orphans (either due to death, abandonment or poverty) ~ child headed households ~ children youth and adults living in extreme poverty ~ child labourers

Beneficiaries partaking in the various sectors of the community development program benefit from the projects which are based upon solid foundations, including articles of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and The Charter of the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child, (ratified by the Royal Cambodian Government), and including the Psychological Rights of the Child (1979), as well as a number of the Millennium Development Goals.

We determine to 'never succumb to the enormity of the problem and risk failing the one'.

Herein is joy, amid the ebb and flow of the passing world: our God remains unmoved, and His throne endures forever.

Faith is to believe what you do not see;
the reward of this faith
is to see what you believe.
